Takai Direct Coil on Plug Conversion Harness

Tested to provide the highest output, the lowest resistance and interference values available in a single package, Takai's COP Conversion Harness is designed to convert twin coil systems to a modern direct coil on plug systems. Each harness converts a twin ignition coil with four ignition wires to our latest direct coil on plug system. Use two harnesses to convert 4 cylinder applications to direct coil on plug systems.

Takai's COP Conversion Harness adapts most remote coil mount setups to direct coil on plug technology and now includes a technology called "CORE" tech. CORE tech provides exceptional high voltage protection for high output ignition coils and includes a host of features developed for the 21st century. Its unique hybrid wire is designed to harness the electrical and magnetic energy passing through the wire and releases it when high engine demands are made rather then waste it as heat in other styles of ignition wire. This allows for maximum energy transfer to the ignition coils, helps sustain voltage to the ignition coil and allows for the lowest resistance levels available. Internally what can be found is our low resistance multi stranded copper wire which offers ideal resistances for maximum voltage and current to the ignition coils while providing a long / reliable life span.

Features allow to:
- implement our Takai COP setup for higher voltages and current to the spark gap over conventional remote mount ignition coil setups
- implement our Takai CORE design for higher voltages and current to the ignition coil
- implement oxidation prevention at the wire terminals allowing for long life and high performance years after installation even in harsh environmental conditions
- reduce vehicle RFI / EMI to levels that will not interfere with other components when using our Series I or II spark plugs

- improve idle and transitional throttle response of the engine
